My name is Melody, and I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. Creating and gifting art has always been a way for me to connect with others and spread joy.
I created my first pet portrait in 2020 when my dear friend’s beloved long-haired cat passed away. My friend was so devastated, and I wanted to memorialize her sweet companion in a way that she could cherish forever. I felt such a deep connection when creating the piece, and I knew this was something I should continue pursuing.
In the same year I adopted a cat of my own, and his name is George. I love him so much and he is my whole world. When I am creating a portrait, I almost always think of George and the great love I have for him. I know how special our pets are, and I pour my heart into each portrait. Each piece is truly made with love and kindness.
I pay special attention to your pet’s character and I do my best to capture their personality in their portrait. To me it’s more than just replicating a photo— a successful pet portrait exudes your pet’s likeness. Each pet portrait is created from the highest quality materials, ensuring your piece will last a lifetime.
